Join us next Friday, December 18th, for International Migrants Day, a day calling for the respect of human rights of migrants at all international borders and the right to migrate with dignity!

In remembrance of International Migrants Day next Friday, December 18th, we will have a vigil and program in honor of the mothers from Central America whose children have gone missing on their journey to migrate to the U.S.
We are calling this vigil “Mothers of the Disappeared Migrants: Photos, Testimonies & Vigil” and it will be held at the Fruitvale Plaza BART Station.
3 pm: Drop-in to see the public display and exhibition of photos collected by the Root Causes Delegation to Central America from mothers who are searching for their children lost on the journey to the US.
5 pm: Vigil & Prayer Service – featuring street theater, testimonies of newly arrived Migrants from all over the World who will share their testimony & the call for the respect of migrant human rights and lifting up the call to radical hospitality and welcome of migrants.
