Join us in observing Tisha B’Av, the ninth day of the month of Av. A day of fasting and lament for catastrophic events in Jewish history. Lament is undertaken by the entirety of the community not just to mourn, but as a generative act that leads to teshuvah, acts of restorative justice.
Together we will reflect on the current human rights violations occurring inside Adelanto Detention Center and across the country against immigrants. Together we can look for ways we can move towards change in our community.
Leading the prayer service will be Rabbi Suzanne Singer and Rev. Julie Kelly.
